I just suddenly got into one of those moods where you want to animate something good and you are going to do it no matter what. So I decided to do an explosion.

Eh. actually i like your style of the more simplistic use of colors, it makes it look really clean. I say stick with that. Maybe try adding some shrapnel and debris though

The dissolving was okay, but it was way too slow, the color mixing was good, but the colors will still unrealistic (explosions aren't just a full red with different shades of red).
BUT, if this were for a POOF, (like a magician dissapearing), it would be great.
