I searched the forum so I'm pretty sure this hasn't been posted before.
Whenever I try to join a server it says "This server is enforcing consistency for this file: particles/water.pcf" All of your help will be appreciated.

uninstall and reinstall tf2. if that doesn't work, i dunno what will.

I was getting that for a few minutes then it went away.

restart steam
if that doenst work, right click tf2 in steam, and go to properties, verify game cache and might as well defrag.
if that doesnt work, go and delete that file.
