Thanks Tolin for the criticism. I appreciate it. I'll try to keep the legs more consistent. And I'll keep note of the arms too

Actually tolin, I didn't really see the legs resize, they did because they were moving at a different angle, but I see what your saying about the back arm.

No, if you look at the frist frame, and click your way to frame three, you'll see that the legs have already increased size, without the the figure becoming any taller. But this is just me being a little too detailed...(you were probably looking at the step, yes?)

I really like the way the step and the punch is executed. It's wonderful when people animate the body a little stretchy, it's very stylish.

Sorry if I sound a little rude, but I don't like the way you made me look better than Flood, not at all.
He is actually right, because I think he was talking about the step, when I was talking about the first three frames(silly me)

Thanks everyone for the comments and criticism.

@Blugil: I think it goes at a reasonably correct speed because punches go pretty fast usually, therefore making it a punch. But it might seem fast because I don't have many frames before and after

Thanks man, I'll try and keep animating.

Especially in about a month or so, when school is out.

I think the beginning could stand a little easing and anticipation, it's good as a punch, but it's lacking a little force. The arm that gets pulled back snaps up and down, it's quite noticeable, you may want to fix it or pay further notice to details like this.
The head pulling back along with the body is a good reaction after the punch, I may try it sometime. But, the arm pulls in too slow, it's like an invitation to get it pull away from the body and broke into pieces.
You should keep in mind that the fighting initiative in fighting should be kept as realistic as possible. Some stretches to the nature of movements and attacks make the animation enjoyable, but too much will make it harder to watch and therefor bore your audience.

I can also see that he gets disjointed once every now and then, correct those lines with the select tool to make the limbs smoother.

Its good, but its really too short for me to really see anything. Its much easier to critique when it flows into something else. Maybe Try to make some sort of combo next time. But good job from what I can see
