I need to find a pager.

EDIT: Link doesn't work for me, I think it's the same for other people.

Just bought a motor from that link they gave. I'll make one when it gets here.

Wow, this actually made me semi-famous in my team (60-90 kids). Everyone actually wants to buy one, so I have to order more motors. Seriously, one kid offered $20 for the first one I make. Can't wait to get the motor.

Me and a few of my friends actually are going to make a CTF base for them.

That one.

Also, I took apart my Madkatz PS2 controller (the one good use for it) and found a DC motor, just like the one they used (but a bit bigger and less powerfull)

I also took apart my watch and got a 3V battery. When I find some tape and a toothbrush I'll put it all together. (Yeah, I tested the motor, it works!)

EDIT: Aha! It's so cute! It's not like the video though, it just spins in small little circles. It's either the battery, motor or tooth brush. The battery is from a sports watch from Christmas, the motor is from a 7 year old controller, and the toothbrush wasn't pre-bent. So it stays bent about 40-70 seconds and then goes straight again. So, I'll order some new shit and try again when it gets here.

EDITEDIT: K, my mom's bringing home her camera shit so I can get some pictures later.

Damnit I broke it.

The copper wire fell off. It still works if I put the battery on the top but it'll need some adjustment.

K: it's fixed.

EDIT: Damnit the other one broke. I need some soldering tools now.

I still can't find a pager, and I don't feel like asking my parents if I could buy me the motors. They'll probably say it's a waste of money.

If you have any un-wanted controller that has rumble feature, that would work. They would actually be perfect if they were a bit smaller and less heavy.

I'll check my old PS2 Madcatz controller that looks exactly like yours.

K, it's going to be on the left or right handle. Or both. If so, send me one.

Look for this:

Just clip off the wires with a wire cutter. If there is still covering over the wires then you might want to peel that off. Be really careful not to pull the wires off. Also, don't be afraid that it'll shock you or anything.

EDIT: Holy shit, I just remembered that I had another controller that I never used. I went down to the garage and disassembled it. Two more motors!

EDIT: K, I made another, awesomer one. Prepare for a shitload more pictures. Sorry about the bad quality, I have no idea how this camera works.

K, I'll post some here and all in the picture thread.

Cool, but I think I'll settle for the one from a pager if it's that big. It doesn't seem practical.
