As many of you may know I have what is considered moderate/servere insomnia as a result of having two livers.

ITT: Suggest things that might help.

Get some sleep, that should cure it.

Sorry.

It all depends on the person. Maybe just take some sleeping pills? I don't know. I've never suffered insomnia.

Well, to put it in perspective, you know sometimes when you lie in bed and for some reason can't get to sleep for like an hour? It's like that for me, every night, for upwards of 5 hours.

I've tried sleeping pills, but I need to take too many pills for it to be deemed safe.

Don't try hard to get to sleep. And loook on these sites:

Also, try listening to a compilation of footballers interviews. Unless you are llaughing in boredom, that should get you off to sleep.

Shit, I had that last night, I couldn't sleep for an hour or so. Must be Hell, every night for 5 hours.

Apparently sleeping in a different place helps. Like put your pillow on the other side of the bed. Or try listening to some really relaxing music, that may help.

Tryed the music several times, didn't work.

I'll try the different place thing now.

Also, if I'm having trouble sleeping, I try to get into a really comfy position and just try to relax each part of my body, from the feet upwards.

So get perfectly still and shut your eyes and just relax your feet, then your legs (all the while staying perfectly still), then your torso, arms etc. until you fall asleep.

Good luck.

Few things get you to sleep faster than sex.

I have limited experience of insomnia so I can't offer much help, but how do you feel when you can't sleep? Are you just not tired at all or are you really tired but can't quite switch off?

I'd have sigged it myself, but it's really sad quote yourself in a sig.

Anyway, we're off topic. Myself, what's the biological reason that two livers gives you insomnia?
