Nothing like the pressure of imminent demise to raise your WPM! I've been wanting to make a game like Mario Teaches Typing in Flash for a while, and I finally came up with something crazy enough to try.

Zombie Teaches Typing

Instructions:
As the letters scroll across your screen, type them on you keyboard. Each correct key will help your character aim at a zombie's head. Several correct keys in a row and you get a headshot. If you hit the wrong key, you fire early and may or may not kill it. If the letters reach the end of the screen, your guy panics and shoots off a round, resetting the letters. You have seven shots in your Desert Eagle's magazine. When you run out of bullets, a blue word will appear in the center of the screen. Type the word to reload. If the zombies make it to you, you lose.








This is version 1.0. In future versions I'm hoping to add difficulty levels (for you fast typers!), bonus things (grenades anyone?), different types of monsters, and a high score table.

Hmm, I can artificially increase its size in my first post, but since I'm using it as a signature, my intent was to keep it small. Editing my first post...

Also, now you can see my terrible art :P

It is nice, although gets a little crazy after the first blue word.

addictive, may i suggest having to type entire words instead of random letters, hard for me to process for some reason

My High Score is 25 :D, Ihave to right click - zoom in to play, because if I don't I have to strain my eyes to see the letters

I had to zoom in, like 2 times to play, and then i couldn't see the cool zombie and the shooting dude. Make it a little bigger please D:

I could see everything just fine and it was really addictive. Your gameplay mechanics are a bit off though.

30 first try, but there's a bit of a problem with not being able to shoot fast enough to stop the zombies when the letters don't come on to the screen fast enough.
