It's basic because the military is trying to conserve it's limited resources - Criroriam which is a metal that is almost impenetrable to anything. To conserve this resource they used bigger pieces instead of more little pieces that fit over the ENTIRE body, shielding it completely from harm. And that is why it's basic.
I am making an animation... and in an episode you will get to see inside the machine.
The almost "V" like shape above the chest is a wishbone and if you shoot it the robot will instantly shut down for 5 minutes to repair itself. But not many people have ever got a shot at it seeing as this robot has such high agility (223mph is the latest model's (Wb-S3o) top speed recorded so far).
I will show earlier prototypes too which will be way more detailed.
But you see this version is designed purely on conservation of materials.
That's all i can think of for now.
i don't see any erasered lines. do you use an eraser that doesn't leave any trace? or do you just draw light?
I erased a major mistake with the mouth, you can just barely see it. I draw pretty hard, so it's actually pretty hard-to-erase lines. :P
I just rarely make mistakes :P
i like the screws in its mouth, and the pipe sortof things. don't get how it moves though. but i think it's kajam! and dude, your break is 15 minutes long? you should sue.
The inner anatomy of this model is not shown here, and as all complex things do, will take time for me to structure.
But i will get it done sometime.
