Anyways, I personally don't have a standpoint. I never played L4D (shocking, right?), and I will probably never buy it. And it will probably make Valve a lot of money anyways. It will definitely sell quick and lots of copies. Alot of fans might be dissapointed however, at how they will have to dish out another 60 bucks for what should just be add on DLC.

I will buy L4D2.

Seriously why are people saying how bad it is for a sequel coming out fast. Its like saying you don't want a TV show episode coming out every week, you want one every month.

the reason is, is because no one expected it. there wasn't even any thought. it would be like if they released tf3 with just new weapons and some reskins and some maps.

paying 50 dollars for the same game, with new maps and fiddle music.
its like they're turning into EA

You can't add melee weapons, 4 new campaigns, 4 new characters, and a complete texture makeover via incremental DLC releases.

I'm sure they could have done a lot of that.

I'm cool with it since I read an interview with Gabe. In Gabe I trust.

But that mother****er is a god damn pro at changing the subject. The interviewer sucked dick, he asked him about Episode 3 and Gabe touched on it for a sentence basically saying "We're working very hard" then when asked again the ****er changed the subject COMPLETELY in under 2 sentences, it was amazing.

"So Gabe how is Episode 3 coming?
"You ever have watermelon pie?"
