Guild wars = slower levelling, more storyline, more solo, only questing.

Guild Wars does not equal more soloing. Sure, there are quests you can do yourself easily, but as you near 20, it gets really hard. You're going to need a party of human players, not just computer mercenaries. And yeah, there's very little grinding if any at all. Storyline's really interesting.

He never said it was a bad thing. :'

And WoW has plenty of lore, plus you can go 1 to 80 completely solo.

Not anymore. The original WoW was epic in lore, but the two expansions killed it. Helicopters and shit.

What?
There have always been zepplins and machines.
Goblins and Gnomes man. Goblins and Gnomes.

The "helicopters" and bikes aren't anything new.

I've played WoW, Warhammer online and LOTR online. The latter 2 didn't compare to WoW, and according to reviews they are the only ones that can really compete with it.

WoW just felt, to me, more whole and finished. You really get to connect to the world you're in, the PvE is much better than any other, the PVP is as you'd expect and it generally gives you a much more satisfied feeling when you accomplish something.
