Yeah, It's just getting a good balance. You can also change the volume of individual notes.

Make sure the sample you want to change is selected, then click the little lines on the top right of the sequencer (like a graph). Then you can adjust the volume of individual notes. You can mess about with the settings by left clicking the sample you want as well.
