I have a destop also, it runs at 3.5 gz and has 4 gbs of ram, needs a new graphics card, but its the type that cant, one of those offices computers often used in schools, it looks like a tower desktop computer, but it is made to be on what a tower would be the side. So it looks like:

Just because it has the slots doesn't mean it could recognize it. Mine has 2 slots and doesn't recognize over a gig of RAM. Your's is shittier than mine, so you'll get 512 max probably. You'd have to upgrade the motherboard as well, so you might as well get a new computer altogether.

Yeah, my computer is like 5 years old, and it can only use up to 1 gb of RAM. I could put more, but it wouldn't be able to actually use it.
