So, recently, I've been encountering unwanted redirects. If you don't quite understand, here's a basic overview.
Search > Click web with result > load > end up with a completely different site

Now, I know that it could be a virus, because in the bottom corner, I can see where it's loading from and going to and shit. Instead of my result site showing up, I would get some dating site or whatever.

And to top it off, it seems like some anti anti-virus stuff is going on too. I can't download any anti-virus stuff, (already tried malwarebyes and AVG Free.) My NOD32 is outdated, and the scans didn't pick up anything. Spyware Blaster isn't really doing anything :|

If anyone has a solution, (legal or otherwise,) either pm me or post. (I advise that "other" solutions be pmed, to avoid an infraction on your behalf. One thing I would prefer is a working username and password for NOD32.)

I'm actually having a similar problem. I only get redirected when I use Google or Yahoo with Opera. I've done virus scans, malware, and spyware scans and they all said that I'm fine.

I don't know if you're using Opera or not, but that may be the problem. I've never had this problem while using Firefox.

Nah, I'm using Firefox. I haven't tried searching with any other browser, but there's a good chance the same thing will happen.

Also, more info: For some reason, when I tried to download installers, instead of them showing up as .exes, they show up as binary files. However, on the download link, it clearly says .exe. Oh yeah, and www.malwarebytes.org doesn't work for me. :|

You can go into safemode and still have access to regedit correct?

I just opened up regedit now, so I assume I can probably do the same in safe mode.

Good so if there is a problem and you find it, that's one way to remove it.

Either finding it yourself or paying tech support :/
