View Profile What's your characters name?
I just started over with a friend of mine that lives in Malaysia (lolol). I don't want to leave him behind and I'm only level 10 (Defender). we just started playing 2 days ago.
We're on Lintra.
My name is osiras, lvl 24 now. Been playing rappelz. Another very good game.

View Profile Actually, I do quite like runescape. Don't get me wrong, I play WoW and prefer it to RS, but as far as getting a lot for nothing/a little (depending on whether you actually buy the membership), RS is actually quite good. Sure, it's not as fun as WoW, but I quite enjoy levelling my character, exploring the world. Not to mention the amounts of skills you can do in contrast to the professions in WoW. That said, there isn't the variety of WoW and that's why I choose WoW over RS. If you don't want to pay, I would at least try runescape.

View Profile I'm going to agree with Automaton, I did have fun when playing RS. For about 2 weeks when I was a member, then I found better ways to occupy my time.
The new graphical improvements and the trailer they got up looks rather cool, though I'd still rather play WoW or TF2. I played it yesterday for about 10 minutes, I want to start an all bowman character but I felt like playing TF2 better.
Maybe if you're broke and have a shitty computer RS is a good choice, but when you got a nice up to date computer. I can see you wanting to play something else.

View Profile I started playing RS a couple of days a go because my PC broke and I have to use the other crappy PC :(
Then my mates started playing it, and I bet that's the only reason I will carry on to play when I get my PC back. I think with better graphics and more variety, RS would be great. I don't like the whole style of play though; the point and click, pan the camera, don't have many classes stuff. That said there's some things about it that I prefer to WoW, such as the skills (as I mentioned), the random events, the bank. But that's all I can really think of if I'm honest.
All in all, you get what you pay for. Sometimes my mate says to me "Why do you pay 9 quid a month for shitty WoW?! Runescape is better anyway". I always tell him the same: I'd rather pay £9 a month and enjoy every hour I play WoW than pay £3 a month and get bored of playing RS about 30 minutes into playing.

View Profile I had such a kick ass time building my house, though being level 40 and not being able to get certain materials I needed sucked ass. I got my house skill to about 25 when I couldn't go any farther.
Other then that, I can't say I enjoyed much else of the game other then Exploring, blacksmithing, and Agility (For about an hour). What killed it for me was when my friend told me to go rune crafting to get money.
Jesus christ that was boring,

View Profile Yeah, I'm doing crafting. Can't beat 100k an hour from picking flax and making bow strings. Also, I'm going to be a strength pure. I'll keep my adamant armor, get a rune battleaxe, try to 99 str, get 60 atk. Pretty fun, but boring/too hard to level up in combat. I'm 35 combat, level 221 total level, in like 3 days.
