My mom is the worst. there was a "broadband" shortcut on the desktop that was a link to IE. I downloaded firefox and my mom went mental.
She said "Where the hell is broadband? Does that mean we're not on broadband any more?".
Also, when I was explaining something to her, I said "Close firefox now", and she said "how do you close it?".
Also, she made me uninstall my firewall because windows was telling her windows firewall wasn't on, and she said "why not?". I told her I had another one, and she said "well uninstall it and get the good windows one back on!".
Also, she wouldn't let me get AVG or anything, she would only have Norton because PC world recommended it.
Also, the modem was unplugged from her PC, and she told me when I got back from school that she spent an hour disconnecting all the wires and plugging everything in the right place because she didn't know what to plug in.
There's many more I can't be bothered to write.
[edit]
Also, a good one:
I had a bootup screen that said "connecting to NSA.gov" and she had a right go at me, saying stuff like "you could get in trouble for this" and "I don't want you getting into this".
Also, off topic:
She is really intolerant to language etc. If she sees a pic of someone undressing in a sig on this, she'll tell me to get it off, or she'll turn my PC off. Also, she makes me quit TF2 if people start swearing on it :/
AAAAALSOO!
if there's a sex ad on a page, she'll think I've been watching porn, and shout at me. Seriously, when she found porn on my PC ages a go I was grounded for 2 weeks and she wouldn't let me on the PC without her coming in the room every now and then.
Yeah, it sucks, just be grateful for how easy you've got it.

My mom was trying to find her resume on the computer one time, so I asked her where she saved it.
"I saved it in word..."

I use AVG, I'm just saying Norton is "decent".
Still prefer AVG over everything.
