Me, maybe. I have my new computer, it's got a Core2Duo processor, 2 gigs of ram, and a 256kbps internet connection. Will it suffice?

I just thought of something. I'll have no way to host it constantly until I run some cable to connect both my computer and the family computer to my router, so until then, I can't host the server.
