Anyway back to business,
the collab is about stickmen doing strange things with any object e.g:
putting wheels on a Tv and driving it. <-- Crap idea but i dont want to give out all my good ones that I'm gonna use.

Rules <-- Ty, Rather Cheesy :D:

know in your post.

3. Dimension = 550 x 300

4. Due date: 15th April

5. 75 Frames 18 fps +. 50 Frames 17 fps -. Feel free to add more if wanted but not over 15 seconds please =]

6. Put your username in the TOP RIGHT.

Thanks for reading my tut and making it understandable, but I don't think anyone will join this. Mainly because of who you are, this is the first time I've seen you on SPP so no one knows you. People like to join collabs of people they've heard of several time before. Plus the idea is sort of restricting because of how confusing it might seem. If I were you I would throughly explain the premise of the collab. Give examples of whats acceptable and not acceptable. Either way I don't think it will work out. But you're welcome to try!

Also please explain rule 5 to me... -_-

if your animating in 18 FPS or more then do 75 frames or more
if your animating in 17 FPS or less then do 50 frames or more

I was gonna do a "Jump teh wall and fail" but i thought it was sorta copying falling down stairs and hill thing

Don't set any restrictions like that, entrants have a way of making their entries the right length.

Also how is jumping a wall and falling anything close to falling down the stairs or a hill? Its not that good a collab idea anyway because there aren't many original ways to fail at jumping over a wall.. Try tyo come up with a collab idea that there could be many outcomes and starting positions to come up with.

Yup people join his collab because because he makes thousands of them and he is a good animator.

Actually...you'd be surprised.

[No offense to Rather Cheesy. I respect your animations, its just that, people usually think your EPIC or something, please don't hate me or take this to offence].

Nah, I was actually about to tell him the same thing, I'm not epic. If you look in the stairs collab my entry is crap compared to everyone else's I wouldn't call myself a beginner in flash, but I'm not nearly as good as most everyone else here. I've just been around for awhile so I'm known, then noobs assume I'm epic because of it =P

Not that I'm complaining ^_^

Looks like not a bad Idea.

To have a more professional look on your first post and to your collab, have sum tipz!

1. Take out the smilies..... now.
2. Get a countdown clock. If you know AS, and know your way a bit around flash, ask me, or Cheesy for a clock download link in PMs and I'm sure we'll sens you one. Put the Swf Flash file onto your sig and the first post.
3. A banner is always a way to make a collab look sharp, and well-made.

I'm apparently getting into the collabing business thanks to cheesy. :3

I might join. If I end up having a clear schedule one day I will make time for making you an animation. Put me down as unsure for now if you want to.

Thanks!

I agree with is the smilies, they make people look like noobs. Text smilies are better and its best not to over use them, I use them when I'm trying to show that I mean something in a different way like if I said "You Bastard!" I sound mean and angry but "You Bastard! =P" Sounds like I'm joking.

The promotional image doesn't really do anything. The promotional image makes your collab look a little more professional but doesn't really add or subtract peoples interest in joining the collab. But their good for sigs [like Kitsune's current sig].

Same goes for the countdown timer. Its good for your entrants to know how long they have left but its not really a plus or a minus either. Its just sort of handy to have.
