Usually Im not big on goth stuff but ive just heard this singer Voltaire and hes awesome. Anyone else like Voltaire?

Looks more scene than goth there mate. Goth is usualy the skulls, vampire stuff, scene is the random piercing and hair colouring crap you see. I think 2D is right though, doesn't sound like anything iTunes says is gothic.

his style is european folk, it's just the lyrics and message he gives in his music that is considered goth.

EDIT: well I take that back partially, I guess dimmu borgir is somewhat black metal. But if you want to know what black metal is then listen to Immortal, and I agree that it pretty much sucks lol.

lol I can't take any of that stuff seriously. Same with the pirate metal and viking metal stuff. The only themed metal I like is Nile and Amon Amarth.
