i made this animation of a stick going round to see if i can understand flash plz tell me if i do or not.... here is the link

You shouldn't animations are swf files. Fla files arn't allowed in portal either. the fla is the document you work in.. pretty cool search bar and all O_o

Go on File>Export>Export Movie>Choose Destination for file>name it>Ok>Ok.
Thats exactly what you should do after you finished your movie.

Or easier save it and than Ctrl+Enter, so it can view animation as swf and saves it as swf in one time =D =P

or go file>export movie>swf>save.
and done it save in the folder u saved it in and then go to swf up host it

i shall repeat what you said "you have to convert it into a swf file..." yeh just 1 question how! and don't bother answering because i already no i had to try and use flash papper 2 "which your not getting"

Tweens suck for smooth motions unless you're at a very high framerate

which I doubt.

Not too good. Make more and I'll judge moar.

tweens+animate at atleast starting 18fps and you should be fine starting off
