i need help with blur..
i've noticed a few weeks / months ago how to blur.. but now i forgot it again, and i'm seeking everywhere, but i can't find it tho...
so i just need to blur the background... and i'm using macromedia flash 8

It's a filter. Make whatever you want blurred into a movie clip, and then open the properties window (mine is down the bottom of the screen), and find the filters tab. Add a blur and adjust it to what you want.

2 things. ^What Bonk said, which is the easiest and cleanest way(The second way makes an assload of extra lines to make it seem blur'd)^
Or 2: Select the entire thing, and go into Modify at the top, then shape, then soften fill edges, usually you can just leave it default.
