Can anyone tell me why when I try to import music into Flash 8's library, it says, some of the files can not be read. And it doesn't import?

that happened to me once. Just reinstall it.

Most of the time, it's because you're trying to import the wrong kind of file. Mp3 and wav. files work the best.

I'm pretty sure, by now, he knows what types of files to import. It's not like he's a beginner. Besides, the only files that it even lets you try to import are the ones it accepts into the library.

Well mine was a torrent version so does that have anything to do with it? And yes, of course it's mp3.. :\.

It shouldn't because mine was downloaded via a torrent, too. And it imports music just fine, provided it's the right file type (mp3s, and Wavs).
GamingWarrior, mp3s work just fine.

It's happened to me before, I ended up just bringing it into ACID and exporting it again, then it worked.
Try using a converter to convert it to something else, then back again.

Well how exactly do I reinstall if it doesn't provide a reinstall button, as in, it doesn't have either so I'm wondering, if I go to "Delete, Add programs" and delete flash, or uninstall, how am I going to reinstall it without having to re-download it.

Uninstalling a software won't remove the install file, as long as you still have it. All you have to do is go to "Delete, Add Programs" in Control Panel, uninstall it, and then reinstall it by using the install file. If you don't have it anymore, it's nothing a Google search won't find. I'm assuming you're using Flash 8. Click THIS to redownload the install file if you don't have it anymore.

Well I tried importing a different song and it works. So now I've eliminated it being flash that's the problem. I'm pretty sure it's the file. Now Jawz suggested converting then converting back to a Mp3 to see if it had corrupted files? I mean, I can play the song just fine in VLC and Windows Media Player. So obviously something's weird. Does anyone know of a website where I can online convert. I checked google, but they're all sites that are pay for or you have to download something.

You don't have something else that will convert it? Like iTunes or Audacity or something?

Oh, I just put in audio file converter. It came up with a load of bullshit. Thanks..
