The effects are only filters. So basically he was being a filter whore.

I'm terrible at animating so, the only thing i'm going to comment on is the conversation they're having with each other. All the periods after the words got annoying and it was just...so..cheesy.

Also, at the finishing punch to the guy, his arm extended like the guy from Fantastic Four.
