I ****ing loathe network degradation.

If you don't know what it is, its basicly a television network selling out for ratings by showing what they normally wouldn't.

ie:
tvland: REALITY TV, and other current day television shows. **** you i want to watch Gilligan's Island.

The most popular and well known one, MTV. A network created to be centered around music, and music videos and shit. Nowadays the only music you'll hear on it will be the opening theme song to some cookie cutter reality show, generally about dating and mindless arguing.
I once saw a commercial about how music videos are coming back to mtv! and then showed some ditsy blonde girl asking "whuts a music vidyo?"
though i do believe they play music videos at like.. 3 in the morning.
and vh1 is like mtvs little brother or some shit in this, but i think they have a reality show at least about music, though judging by the commercial it's pretty dumb.

the one we're in right now. Cartoon network. I think it was started with osmosis jones, i was first wierded out when they started showing movies, which the first was i think osmosis jones, which was half cartoon, so whatever. Then they started showing movies with no cartoons, and i was like what the ****. Out of jimmys head? fuck you.

theres like a shitty ghost hunter show, aka walk around in a building with lights turned off and turn nightmode on our camera. which is like that other shitty ghost hunting show, but for kids.. i guess.

some shitty show about breaking stuff.

some shitty survival kids show.

hell now that i think of it these shows are all just ****ing kid versions of shows we already have.

except for brainrush, which i think is a show about.. riding rollercoasters. out of ideas, CN?

also it seems shows like chowder are getting cancelled, which i've heard a lot of people like.

and i remember when Cartoon networks tag was "All cartoons, all the time"

Ah yes G4tv hit degradation too. I think it started with Brainiac. It was nerdy, so it sort of fit. Then Banzai, a Japanese game show thing, less nerdy but just put on there because it's Japanese. Then came Star Trek and Ninja Warrior. They aired old Star Trek episodes constantly as if you couldn't get them anywhere else although you could. Ninja Warrior was a good show, but it really had nothing to do with video games or anything nerdy... just Japanese. Now there are only TWO shows about Video Games and technology. Xplay, the awesome gamers show, and Attack of the Show(AOTS) The tech-filled internet driven show. They took out Icons, Game Makers, Arena, Filter, Cheat!, Cinematech, and the humor in both Xplay and AOTS. All so that we can watch Cops and Cheaters. Ugh.

Kevin was always good, but when they put Olivia Munn on there, he didn't have the charisma of Sara Lane to bounce off of, just the stupid "OMGHAWT" Olivia, so the intelligence broke down quickly. I miss Sara Lane.

i don't have high standards or anything, but i don't think shes that good looking.

I completely agree with the cartoon network bullshit. I watched five minutes of "Out of Jimmy's Head" and couldn't stop staring at the ****ing huge mole taking up half his face. And I didn't hear Chowder was getting canceled. There goes the last decent show on "CN"

If MTV renamed itself I wouldn't really mind. If these networks can just change their names to honestly reflect what the show I'd be totally fine letting ShitCentral on channel 45 run their shit.

i like flapjack lots more then chowder.

I've never seen flapjack. I'll watch it next time it comes on though.

Flapjack isn't bad...Chowder is very meh and relies on LOLRANDUM humor but the art style for both is nice.

I will always like Ed Edd n' Eddys art style, how the outlines would always move even if they were standing still.

You know what I really miss? Tech TV.
