Put the walks in a fixed camera (this is where the stickman moves across the screen and the camera doesn't move.) Make sure that the planted foot stays in the same place on the ground while it's leg straightens in midstep.

It's back was really stiff. Download a stickman with a joint on it's back.

Check a walking tutorial (Zed's walking tutorial).

Here are some tutorials that teach you about some of the basics:

Walking - http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1210533611

http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1202042067

http://www.stickpageportal.com/forum...d.php?t=104748 (recommended)

Running - http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1202041766

Punching - http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1202041618

http://www.stickpageportal.com/forum...ad.php?t=85413

Kicking - http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1202041549

When you get better at them, i want you to check out these:

Stiffness and Easing - http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1202041872

Throwing - http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1210533663

Small fight - http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1202036132

Now, here is a link to a thread containing many of the best pivot tutorials:

http://www.darkdemon.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=7164

And here is a link too possibly the most well known tutorial out there:

http://www.darkdemon.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=22662

To summerise what you need to work on, i believe its safe to say you need to work on everything. Make sure you move every joint in every frame and take time to use more frames. Learn all of the basics before you try more advanced animations.

Good luck.

Tutorials by: Fraz, Nev, Baha, Zed, Pf0 and many others.

What a nice guy. Really, though, read those tutorials.
