So I had an original Xbox 360 since early 2006

Yeah, it never had problems, until recently a few months ago, when it just so happened to pass the Microsoft warranty time limit.

Bunch of shit, I'd rather buy a new console then pay to get a broken one fixed and take chances with that being more broken afterwards (It's Microsoft we're talking here)

So I bought a new one from Gamestop, they ask "Do you wanna buy a Microsoft warranty or a Gamestop warranty? Otherwise you get a month warranty". I figure I'll be fine, since I haven't been using my Xbox lately anyway (All the fun games seem to be PC exclusive once more; Zeno Clash, The Sims 3, Merchants of Brooklyn [**** you I like this game] and so on and so forth). Literally a ****ing day after that warranty goes out "LOL IMMA FREEZE AT STARTUP AND NOT EVEN RED RING LOLLOL"

So yup, glad I just spent a shit load of money and what could've been a brand new PC or maybe even a more reliable PS3, instead shelling it out for Microsoft to just manhandle.

So glad I already got a new PC coming within a month.

And to make matters even more ludicrous, one of my older controllers was all bugged out and breaking, so I was glad to get a new controller with the "new" xbox I got. But no, the new controller's right trigger doesn't work all of a sudden. Great.

Now if only I could find a way to play Brutal Legend when that comes out...

You can fix it and sell it on eBay, I can't provide link but go to YouTube, search my name(same name as here)look in my favorites and a few pages back there's a 3 part tutorial, use that might take some time to fix, worth a risk?

PS2 Out sold every other console one month last year because of a price drop to 99$'s, I read it on IGN I think.

I still think Sony>Microsoft. Nintendo for me is neutral.

Original Xbox is still better though.

Dude gamestop gives you a month warranty, so if you haven't waited a month, you can just send it back. I got one from gamestop that broke the second i started it and we just went back to the store and exchanged it for a new one free of charge.
