A change in story is what every story needs. The Video game zelda story, when you look at it carefully, is not that impressive of a plot. It actually looks like an entertaining view other than that. It seems with the appearance they really try to emulate the game, but it might be another Beowulf. Beowulf was unlike the Epic, and some hated it for that. But it's still not a bad movie. This may go the same direction.

I do pity the N64 faps of the time who are just horny for some video game movie action and end up completely disappointed by what they see, if this is true.

Not April Fools. It was too efforted and credited to be a non-loser joke. That would be the joke someone obsesses over for years or months just to get the preview done to laugh at their face. It looks real. Stop making excuses because it's THAT unbelievable that a really good video game was put into a movie. It was done before. I'll need some more evidence than some dates to see that it's an april fools joke.

You obviously aren't very familiar with April Fools jokes if you think the effort put into it determines its authenticity. If they're going to make a movie trailer for something like a movie, don't you think they'd make it look as real as possible so people will believe it, only to laugh in their face on April Fools day because it was fake? Just because it's an April Fools joke it doesn't mean it's going to be crappy an half-assed.
