This is just basically a test, but you can request BG's for your animations if you want to/need to
here's an example of one of my BG's made in 20 seconds.

you can use this one for testing power up skills like beams etc.
or you can use it for a stick fight, Whatever you want!
If you think i can improve, then give me some tips but please,

The BG looks decent, it is very simple and it allows you to animate however you want.

I like the gradient, you picked a really nice color for the sky. But; one thing I noticed, is that the mountain in the BG should be blurred, which it isn't.

Oh, adding some shading would be a big plus. I can't really se if you've added shading on the BG or not because all I see is dark grey lines and random light lines spread around.

But as I said earlier, it's really decent :)

Dude, he used 20 seconds on it. What did you expect?.. A Mona Lisa?

lol. crazy eggrolls. You should see what I can do in 20 seconds =D

I guess it's alright for a basic foundation, but you shouldn't have shaded the rocks like you did. You should draw the area that will be used for moving on, and then draw the actual scenery for it. Use colors that flow together.

show us a background that you acctualy put effort into, otherwise it looks bad.
use layers in your backgrounds, and try to make things move to mak it look more realistic.

That looked really cool :) But you should also try out making a backgroung with no outlines, that works out pretty well too.

Keep up the good work
