New Halo 3 Maps that are coming out!

It's a "spiritual" remake of Sidewinder from the original Halo. So, I'm assuming spiritual means, "It's snowy and in a canyon." Kind of how Guardian is a "spiritual" remake of Lockout. Small and in the air.

Now, as I've already stated, Guardian is a "spiritual" remake of Lockout. This, however, is a REAL remake of Lockout, and all I can say is... Well, nothing. EXCEPT HOLY SHIT! Lockout was my favorite map on Halo 2 and I can't wait to see how it works out with Halo 3's gameplay.

Not really anyway to describe this one. It's not really modeled after an older map. It's a map you'd have to play to see what it's like. It personally reminds me of Overgrown on CoD4.


These are the new maps coming out.

Also, the Heroic Map Pack [Rat's Nest, Foundry, and Standoff] is now free to download in the Xbox Live Marketplace.

I loved Sidewinder from the original, I was waiting for when they were going to re-make it. Blackout looks awesome as well.

Wow, thats totally awesome how they made such a close remake of lockout.
That map was the shit for everything from fistfights to rocket launcher wars.

That will coincide with the reveal of the third map from the soon to be released Legendary Map Pack, which, if you're getting greedy, has no current plans for becoming an eventual freebie.

No current plans, eh? That's how a few few of the Halo 2 maps were labeled, as having no plans for release as freebies.

They'll have a new map pack eventually, and it'll push this one into the free zone.

I heared about these yesterday. I don't play Halo 3 on LIVE much, but i may download them.

The Blackout one looks like the last match on domination of the GOTY edition of unreal tournoment 2000 where its an oil rig.

I'm getting a 360 + Xbox live + Halo3 + CoD4 + Oblivion + a whole bunch of other games that are good but not quite as much.

Anyway, the remake of sidewinder looks great, the side passages have been removed if I've read correctly. That would be great.
