For those of you who didn't see the first Tron film from 1982, this post will probably mean nothing to you. So, I will outright say to please only post in this thread if you have seen the first film.

Here's info from the video itself:

Quote from "YouTube user texinsf"
Tron Legacy is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that's unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin's loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

And here's the, uh, video itself:

What do those of you who have seen the first film think of the prospects of this one? I'm kinda leaning towards wanting to see it as soon as it is released.

Haha, wow, this looks like it'll be everything the first one should have been. Honestly the first Tron, while I have respect for it for being the first movie to implement 3D CGI with live actors, along with many other things, it bored me to death.

This takes light cycles to a whole new beautiful level. Can't wait.
