Uh, the core of the earth is a giant magnet.

That's why we have the north and south poles.

But last time I checked, people aren't magnetic, unless there's something seriously wrong with their diet.

Yea. The core of the earth doesn't have to be a magnet to only metal. Just cuz this is a theory, maybe the earth is a magnite to matter instead of just iron or other metals.

Fun fact, frogs can vomit; they spit out their stomach and emty it with theyr front paws. Afterwards they swallow it again.

Nah, he needs to be doing a song-and-dance.
Omg, Looneytoons reference.

Uhm, technically that's not magnetism.
If it was, wouldn't we see other, large planets with a very weak gravitational field simply because they don't have a "matter magnetic" core?

I laughed my ass off as I always do at that video.

Vomiting funfact: Vultures can projectile vomit. That is, they can spew vomit out to distances of 6-8 feet.

just curious, if the earth core would have been the only magnetic power keeping people on earth. Wouldn't that mean that since a magnet always has 2 poles, that when you went to the other side of the planet you'd be launched out of orbit since you'd get to the other polarity?

Yes i AM exactly right, and our meat is made of DIRT already.
Maybe not only earth, but if it was air,we couldnt feel it.If it was only water,we couldnt just stay in a piece. If it was fire,oh please.
It is mixed earth and water. Our meat is soft u see,but stays in a piece.Lets call it...Mud :P

What the fuck?

Seriously how OLD ARE YOU. Water is bipolar. Every thing is bipolar that has any magnetised atoms in it to a certain degree.

Maybe the might happen if you strapped your self to another planet and managed to touch the earth, exactly with the north pole of your planet and the north pole of earth. Then may be, but seriously WHAT THE FUCK ????

I appreciate how you judge before noting that you don't know what the **** i'm asking, I like that in a person....

I see what you're talking about, Kaas, and I agree it's a dumb belief, partly because of that, but mostly because we are able to move magnets around freely and if the Earth was one huge magnet, the most magnetic materials would be harder to move around than they are. Hell, they would probably all migrate toward the core to strengthen the magnetic field. It has a ton of holes in it. (the theory that is)
