If a sand block touches water it becomes like a normal block. use sponges to get rid of the water around it and it'll float.

Sand will stay if there is water under it.
Sponging away the water is ok.
Taking sponges away causes it to fall.

Anyhoo. OBEX single-handedly messed up the game rig, so until he comes up with the means to fix it or manages convince me to clean up his mistake, he may not be in Minecraft for a while.

I'm beginning to think it's less we've got rotten luck with computers and more we're cursed to never have a decent machine run properly for more than a few weeks.

Sorry, no time to become invested in Minecraft again... maybe when Beta occurs...

Maybe we can win back some players when the Survival multiplayer beta comes out? Needless to say I'm going to be preparing a few combat skins when that happens.

If Notch does make multiplayer survival I will host a server for sure.
