what are those black bricks? i haven't played in a while

Honestly I have no idea what they are supposed to be, but they came with the other new bricks. (half-blocks, actual bricks, bookshelf, mossy cobblestone, those speckled stone things you see naturally, new gold texture, silver, and I think there is more)

they're obsidian.
