I'm predicting that Anderson will pick apart Forrest, but that should be a really entertaining fight as well.

Looks like I called that one right

That second knockdown was awesome.

Also WEC 42 on tonight! Can't wait for it because WEC shows are always awesome.

I can't believe I chose Forest to win. Why did I doubt Silva.

Anderson Silva is one SCARY mother****er. Apparently, he dislocatied Forrest's jaw, that's why he ran off after the fight.

I think Forest Shit himself, and ran off to clean up.

Initial fears that Forrest Griffin had a suspected dislocated or even fractured jaw after being hit on the mandibular bone by Anderson Silva at UFC 101 in Philadelphia on Saturday night were allayed on Sunday when one of his coaches confirmed to a source working alongside Griffin’s team at the event that there has been no break, fracture or dislocation.

It is very possible that he shit himself though lol.

The rest of the event last night was pretty disappointing. Especially the stoppage in the Amir vs Hendricks fight. Amir was actually looking really good before the early stoppage though, and I wanted to see how that fight was going to play out.

Yeah man, feel bad for Amir. First fight in ages, and it gets stopped like that. Bullshit. Glad to see BJ back to his old self. Those heel kicks from the back were pretty sexy.

I take back the bad things I said about Anderson.

He was ****ing amazing, just seriously wow.

Bj/KenFlo was a decent fight I thought, good showing from both guys. Felt a bit bad for Kenny though.

How was the WEC event StrunG? Is it worth downloading, or should I just stream it?

EDIT: turns out Forrest's jaw is fine. http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templates/dailynews.asp?articleid=9333&zoneid=13 He was just upset because his shorts were shitty

It wasn't quite as good as the last few events that they've had, but still worth watching. I'd suggest just streaming it, though. Benavidez/Cruz was a good fight.

It's really hard to type this without giving away the results lol.

Torres lost didn't he?

There's serious talk atm about merging WEC and UFC so the guys like Torres, Brown and Faber get more recognition which is all good in my eyes.

I can't believe how cocky Silva got in that fight, totally disrespecting Forrest, but at least he's back on form.

WEC was actually awesome, huge upset with Balls or whatever his name was winning lol.

Tbh, I was actually expecting it. He just has the perfect style to beat Torres, and I'd probably bet on him again if they fight each other again. Still sad to see though, since Torres is one of my favorite fighters.

Dominick Cruz looked awesome though.

EDIT: Just read an interview with Torres and it looks like he took the loss well and is going to come back better than ever.

Ah man, it's only made me a more dangerous fighter bro. Brian Bowles just woke up a sleeping giant. My style…I pretty much coached myself and ran my own training camps. I hadn't lost in a long time, but after this loss, it's going to make me revamp everything. I just got off the phone with Mark DellaGrotte and I'm working with a couple different coaches to make my game step up.

That's good to hear, you learn from your losses.

"I can't believe how cocky Silva got in that fight, totally disrespecting Forrest, but at least he's back on form."

I don't think he was that bad. I mean, for a lot of the fight, he was very repectfull (bowing before the fight, helping forrest back up on his feet) The only time I saw that was a little out of hand is when he was was telling Forrest "let's go!". But that was probably to shut the critics up, trying to make the fight more exciting. I mean, the guy is one of the most humble, respectfull fighters in the game.

I don't see what Anderson can do at LHW though, I mean he just destroyed one of the top 205's.
He'll probably fight Shogun, but he wont fight Machida so what is the point in him moving up if he doesn't want to fight the top guys?

Top guys? You mean top guy? lol.

I'm guessing a fight between Machida and Silva would be boring anyway. I'd rather see Silva fight other top LHW's.

Eh, I thought he was taking the piss when he offered his hand, it was just that he didn't treat Griffin like a real opponent, he had his guard down, and was taunting him loads.

But yeah, I'll agree it was definitely because of Silva's critics saying he was too "safe". Hope Silva goes much further, hopefully see him in 105 or sometime soon.
