What's better for animating? A brush tool or a line tool?

And does anyone else have an ideal frame rate? Or is 14 fps ok?

up FPS a bit, not many people do well under 18 and most go for over 20, I use 24.

Brush and line is personal choice, ie, there's no answer.

As for illustrations, it is still better to emulate the motions of a real pencil. How about a tablet?
