Even I just recently joined, but I now that Flash is expensive because it is developed by a corporation and is the best animation software on the market.

I've used both Pivot and Flash, and Flash is better and easier. Everything in Pivot has to be made with lines, except for images.

Pivot is for TRUE animators, who don't need fancy shit to enhance their epic animations.

But on a serious note, it's still animation, just as much as tweening is animation. Just because it's not FBF doen't mean it isn't animation.

I tried both of them I think Flash is better with many different effects and stuff. And I think its more friendly user.
