The explosion is too fast, make the smoke disappear slower.

and the point blank thing was kind of crap. try using brush, that way, you make your stick more flexible. it's way too stiff. and the explosion should've exploded on all sides, not just straight up.

I think I saw that explosion and I think it's on this site in one hit wonders :)
copy it better...oh yes it's "action escape",hey but it's good
