Longshot is the one I usually carry, since ammo is more plentiful, but Torque Bow is always my first grab if a Longshot is out of reach.

I think, I vote Longshot.

i can't ever hit anything with the bow, but usually i'd rather be the upfront capture point taking kind of guy with the lancer

Why not call the shotgun the "Closerangegun"

Or a knife a "Meleetool"

Call binoculars "Seefarglasses"
