hey so I have been trying to upload 2 longer animatoins for about a month but the uploading screen resets itself after a while. I sucsessfully uploaded a shorter one so I think the reason i cant upload the longer one is the file size is too big.
i dont animate in flash so my animations end up being big:Nooooooo:
one is 16MB and the other is 20MB
their both really good so i REALLY want to upload them...
so do you guys know the size limit for a file on the portal.

I don't know the limit but that's pretty big. You could try downloading the free flash 30 day trial and using that to split your animation into three or four parts which you can upload seperately.

hmmm. maby. could i upload a video into flash and export it as a flash animation with a small file size??

Well you would think the raw animation would be smaller than the raw animation + other swf stuff, unless flash has better compression.
And holy shit dude, anything over 3MB is huge imo, and you're up to 20. Compress your music or no one will watch something that takes years to load and eats up so much download.

ya, the audio is a coulple KB the reason it is so big is I have to put it first into AIV format and than take that and make it a swf.
the file size would be small but the AIV files anime studio pro makes are HUGE!
ARGG!! now im trying to upload a much shorter one but it says "file most be of swf. format" and it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is it a video in flash? why not just chuck it on youtube if its a video?
