I wake up around 8:50 realize my brother has left for school.

I walk around, get some water, phone rings. Cordless phones are jacked up so I gotta run out to the corded phone in the garage. It's my Mom and she sounds pretty frantic saying to get my Dad, I get him but when he gets to the phone she has hung up, she calls back. My brother has been in an accident.

Dad slams the phone done, he grabs his keys and we bolt out of there. Drive down his normal route, see some ambulances, he parks and stops and throw the door open and run to see my brother laying on his back in the street moaning and crying with his face all cut and smashed up. I say I'm the brother, Dad finally catches up with me and we say who we are. Apparently he just fell off his skateboard and got banged up but no one was sure. Some girl walking to school saw my brother fall, and I guess my brother remembered my Moms phone number so the girl called her and my Mom called my Dads.

I ride in the ambulance with him while my Dad gets my Mom. He was able to tell the paramedics some things, his name, age, weight, birthday and etc. But when the paramedic saw he recently had a birthday my brother couldn't remember. We get to the hospital and they get him into a room. Now note, I'm still in my pajamas which are sweat pants and a t-shirt and no socks or shoes. A nurse gives me some booties/socks and my brother is now in a room. They hook him up to see his pulse, get him off the backboard and check some things and ask him questions. He couldn't remember what happened, the ride to school, what he had for breakfast, that he had lost a tooth a couple day before, hardly anything.

He's ok now. They asked if we wanted to give him a CAT scan but since he's young and it's unsure if he even needs it my parents decided to take him home and if he shows symptoms of needing one they'll bring him back.

He's home now, I got 2 new hospital bootie things and he's just banged up. Nothing broken, he can walk alright and he just feels a little sick so he's just going to take it easy for now. He just gashed up his lip pretty bad and has some abrasions around his face and a headache. He's slowly remembering stuff now so he seems ok. He lost a tooth, and he was wearing a helmet, a really thick one made for motorcycles.

God damn though, it has been a pretty eventful ****ing morning.

tl;dr
Little brother got in some accident with his skateboard, has a bit of amnesia, decided against CAT scan for now, face is just covered in abrasions and has a gash on his lip and feels a bit sick to his stomach but he can walk fine so he seems to be ok.

that's pretty ****ed up.

one time i hit my head really hard on a concrete table.
everything after that felt like a dream. it was like seeing everything in a 3rd person perspective.

Inb4 some jew informs us of his absence of interest and the implied lack of it from the rest of the planet.

Sounds like you did alright out of it. Why was he wearing a helment like that on a skateboard?

I guess it was the only helmet he had and the school has a policy that if you ride anything to school without one they don't let you in.

Man, I'm sorry that happened to your little brother. I hope everything's alright. He has to remember to be more careful on his skateboard next time.

Although the parking assholes tried to get $3 form my Dad for parking but he said he didn't have it, they asked if he'd mail it to them and he was all "lol, sure".
