This is our third machinima and we consider this our best work. Before anyone says anything, this is based off of the Halo 3 ad. Comment, questions, concerns?

To those who don't know what machinima is, its basically a movie made from a video game.

This is your BEST? A minute and 20 seconds...roughly 80 continuous god damn seconds of a frozen battlefield with a moving camera? Really? That's the BEST? And why the title "Believe"? The hell am I...or the characters supposed to believe in? What ARE they believing in? A more appropriate title would have been "80 Seconds Of A Frozen battle". And I know it's not hard to pull this frozen battlefield shit off, sure maybe at first it takes some common sense but it's not worth jack.

Partially because of the fail but mostly because of the movie thing.

You had no idea what you were talking about. You obviously didn't see the halo 3 "believe" commercial. Your post was blatantly ignorant. Some one 'round here needs to set people strait.

I don't care what it was based off of, the video still sucked and the ad sucks as well. I award no creativity points for copying an ad. But now that I have seen the ad, I like this machinima even less.

This is meh. It's not that it's bad, there's just nothing good about it.

On a side note, I made a machinima for my short film in my film and television class.

It got an A.

If those images were actually slow motion shots then I'd like it more.

I hate halo with the best of them, but that ad was amazing, and probably the only good thing about halo.

Damn guys. Obviously, our first and second were shit. Its all a matter of preference. It was based off the ad, so if you didnt like that ad, you wont like this.

Your first and second at least had some MOVEMENT and...."acting" I guess. At least voice acting. This was probably made like this:

"Yo bros let's have a death match in a random server!"
"Yeah!"
*Insert lots of kills, deaths and insults here*
"Hah, I recorded everything, now let's pick a few moments and FREEZE them!"
"WOAH BRO THIS IS OUR BEST WORK EVER"
