I'm making this a bit earlier than usual, mainly because I just watched Rob Zombie's Halloween II and that launched me into the Halloween spirit faster than usual.
Discuss your best halloween moments, what you love most about halloween, halloween costumes, etc.

I feel sorry for any country that doesn't celebrate Halloween.
Kids should be scared to death at least once a year. It builds character.
I'm going to be such a terrible father.

We+re starting to celebrate it here, but it's mostly just halloween parties.
I don't like the fact that we just HAD to copy the US. We already have another holiday where people wear mask.

we don't celebrate halloween because its not a real holiday
because the deep spiritual elements of holidays are what really matter

We don't have Halloween here but our teachers bitch us with home assignments about it the whole month.
Go figure why.
And Mantha, we too have a holiday dedicated to masks. It's called "Carnaval".

Halloween (I instinctively feel there's meant to be an apostrophe in there somewhere) is just a warm up for Guy Fawkes night really.

I do remember to enter a Halloween collaboration with Rather Cheesy some years ago.
That's basicly my most close contact to the whole scary thing.

Last year I went to town dressed as a Blood, LA cap, red hoody, red rag in my pocket, NWA written down one arm, plaster under my eye, tear drops.
NO ONE GOT IT.
I even tried to go into a nightclub and was told I was dressed 'too informally...' IT WAS ****ING HALLOWEEN!?

Hallowe'en is sort-of celebrated here... children want the excuse for sweets and adults just get annoyed that little punk kids knock on the door demanding their beloved "candy". So the police hand out little posters that people can stick on their door/window if they don't want to be "trick or treated".
When I was 5 my older sisters dressed me up as a sheep for Hallowe'en.
