Sure there may be a thread but I loved this movie so god damned much I don't care.

I should first say that I watched a horrible copy but my internet was out at my Moms and I had finished the last season of Robot Chicken and I had nothing else to watch. What I watched had Russian subtitles but the person managed to be so kind to put english subtitles (With some dodgy spelling) over the russian ones but forgot to put english titles over the parts where they told the characters names as they were giving interviews. But I looked up the characters and I know them now.
Alright now to 'review' it.
I really really liked it. I loved the feel of how it was a documentary and seemed to cut in and out of it at times until finally not being so documentary-ish for most of the movie but towards the end did it again very nicely. I really liked the main character, Wikus. His image as a office boy dedicated to his job wasn't all that annoying but it was still a bit silly but that only made his 'transformation' into what he became more incredible. It turns out the guy who played him is a South African TV and film producer who had never acted before named Sharlto Copley. I can't say too much of the other characters since they were either misguided friends of Wikuz or total assholes trying to kill him.
The aliens on the otehr hand or "Prawns" were really cool looking. At times they seemed kind robotic but organic. Hard to explain. I just haven't seen an alien like that in movies, the grown up ones could hold an image of being something you do not want to **** with but at times seemed pretty gentle despite the tentacles coming from their mouth. The kid ones were just cute all around, the one and only one you do see was pretty cute.
The biggest thing I liked was how Wikus changed mentally and physically. The way he looked at the end Not full on prawn, the stage before that with one yellow eye was really cool. But the ending was kinda sad but not too sad. I like movies with a sad endign where the good guy doesn't really win like Valkyrie but here he did kinda win. All I want to know is will there be a second one? Or does he just stay a prawn forever making flowers for his wife?
I don't see how they could do a second one and even if they thought of a way to, I don't think they should. But that god damn alien promised...3 years. And I guess it's not too late to change him back? I thought once he went full prawn that was it. And even if they can change him back what would they do? Revolution? Throw over MNU? Make aliens and humans live all hunkey doory? Aliens just leave to their planet? Why did they leave it in the first place? SO MANY QUESTIONS. As Long as Wikus is there, I'm happy.
