You have probably all seen the video at this point. In the middle of some speech by president Obama, hte idiot Joe yelled out "You lie" loud enough to be heard by tv audiences. This is absolutely the last thing we need. The image of the US has crumbled so much in the past decades, that most of the world thinks we're just a bunch of rednecks or whatever. This outburst was childlike, immature, and just plain retarded. How coulod we elect such people to power? Now he has embarassed his country and all its people. Great job. POst your thoughts on this.

Just a side note: Wilson is retired military, and by military law, this outburst against any authority figure is tantamount to court martial. He has made a huge ass out of himself.

This isn't really a debate. Also, as a Briton I can't say you looked any dumber for the outburst. Frankly, not many people outside the US were watching, if any. The fact that he was able to say it without getting shot shows a degree of free speech. Plus he was only expressing his opinion that Obama was unlikely to keep his promise as opposed to stating something which was blatantly untrue as would actually make you look stupid.

Yeah because, you know, one idiot represents the entire country. You realize how much he got chastized by everyone soon afterward, right? If you really want to use an example to say how dumb we're looking right now, use the town hall members who think Obama's going to kill their grandparents because Glenn Beck said so.

A man decided to voice out his opinions on what our president was saying in the middle of a speech, what an idiot!

Well in his defense, a state senator yelling out "YOU LIAR" in the middle of a health care speech isn't exactly the smartest thing to do. Especially when you're a senator.

That was the first time in US history the president has been heckled on THE FLOOR OF CONGRESS. On top of that, he was utterly and completely wrong. WRONG. He ****ing made history in disrespect and rudeness, and he made it saying something COMPLETELY MOTHERFUCKING WRONG.
It's ridiculous how much shit has been said about this healthcare bill, from the complete disregard for facts to the constant fear mongering that Palin and various other assorted idiots have been taking part in, but for a senator to heckle the president during a speech about something that was never even up for debate is just too far.
Are you happy now republicans? You've made history by creating enough slander to get into the head of a representative of the United States and make him embarrass the entire country on the floor of congress.

You're missing the point. He would be voicing his opinion properly if he said something like, "Now, I don't mean this in offense, but how can we be sure that you will carry out what you are saying?" While that may be slightly controversial, because of the implications of what he's suggesting, it is neither childish, nor inappropriate.
