Nope haha, High School finishes here at 16 then you go to a college for further studies in your chosen field to gain points needed to get entry to Universities.

It's confusing if you're American.

I'm not a scumbag that's why I'm not going to Liverpool ;)

Come to Porstmouth, we can sp party and take lots of drugs.

My Mum's from Portsmouth, I feel the need to move somewhere my immediate family hasn't lived.

+ Liverpool's good, be nice, you!

I'm thinking of applying to Kings in London but I'm sitting on BCDEE so my resits would have to go through the roof and I'd have to get predicted AAA.

aged
11 / 12 - year 7
12 / 13 - year 8
13 / 14 - year 9
14 / 15 - year 10
15 / 16 - year 11
16 / 17 - FIRST YEAR OF COLLEGE aka YEAR 12
17 / 18 - SECOND YEAR OF COLLEGE aka YEAR 13

18 - University ORRR
GAP YEAR THEN
19 - University

I hope this sort of helped.

And to add some additional information, Year 11 grades determine whether you go to First year of college, better grades = better college.

Then, first year of college results = what a lot of universities look at to determine if you're going to be any good in your second year of college.

And finally, second year of college results = secure the place in the universities which have already said "you can come here if you get _ _ _ at the end of second year of college.

Yeah?

My family all live in the same 20 minute walking radius other than my auntie who lives in Yorkshire. I want to move somewhere, anywhere.

It's only good because you haven't expierenced the greatness of Birmingham.

Yeah, I have to buck my ideas up this year as well.
Doing a BTEC in IT and an extra A level in IT, but my grades are shit. Need to get Distinctions overall this year then hopefully I'll have enough points for uni or I'll have to lower my standards.

Mhm, on my current grades I'd be lucky to go to Liverpool Hope University, needless to say it's where Tesco workers go.

It's ****ing called Hope University for Christ's sake.

Haha on my current grades I'll be working at Subway for the rest of my life.

I need 200 UCAS points to get in to Portsmouth, that's MMM overall, so far I'm PPP with a merit in one subject so to get MMM I have to get Distinction in every unit this year which is ****ing hard as ****.

I really shouldn't have ****ed around in my first year.

Same, I think I'm on 140 UCAS points at the moment and it's 200 for Leeds Met so 1 A sorts me for there, but I'd really rather resit, try and get something along the lines of BBB and then be able to get BBB at this level as well and have a chance at somewhere half decent.
