How have I never heard this band. There ****ing amazing. I already downloaded all there albums and I love every song. What do you guys think?

Well, I find Mastodon amazing. Lyrical wise, and in the style of music. One of the few new age heavy metal bands that don't blow vast amounts of cock.

There's no band that sounds like them, and only a handful that can create a similar sound.

They're earlier stuff up to "Remission" was awesome, heart pounding and heavy enough to rupture a nut.

But, their last 3 albums have been no less then incredible, especially Leviathan.
