(Sorry I haven't started this well but I honestly don't have an answer myself, and thus can't really say anything on my views).

It's just based on your morals. To me, I wouldn't hit a girl unless they're threatening my life!

Depending on the hit, it's okay to hit anything other than an infant.

It really annoyed me at school this week.

My R.S (religious studies, though turning into PSHE more and more) teacher was discussing sexism. She said "Sexism still exists today. A recent poll was done, and - you're not going to believe this -" *dramatic pause* "60% of children between the age of 10 and 13 believed it was OK to hit a girl". She just stood there for a second, expecting us to all gasp and cower in shock. I felt like standing up and smacking her in the face, and then saying "I'll have to go with the majority miss".

Seriously, I don't see why it's so wrong unless the girl is presenting no threat to you or it's uncalled for. The amount of times I've been slapped by these chavvy hoars who are more like men than girls, and I've done nothing about it because of societies so called "morals".

I don't think a man should ever hit a woman ever. Period.

However. If the girl is beating the living shit out of a guy and he bleeds quite a bit I think he's entitled to a shove and a learning permit on how to ****ing run way.

How is that sexism in any way? In fact, the 40% are the sexists ones, believing that women are more fragile than men. Even if they are physically, everyone should have an equal opportunity of getting hit!

Honestly though, I wouldn't mind hitting chicks that are gangster/chav. They need to be taught a lesson anyway.
