All regulars: Please make good use of the thread. Actually help people instead of kicking all the new members into the gutter. I don't want to repeat this process again because people want to help new members without actually making contact with them.

I'm just trying to aviod utter confusion.

People usually need a pretty straitforward message before anything changes.

edit: It's not an announcement because I feel this is a forum specific thing. I don't want to sticky this because I would rather everyone reads it once and then uses the correct stickies (especially the beginners thread).

Shouldn't this be stickied then?
