Do you mean like, travelling abroad?
In that case, 8-9 times.

Every summer I go to another place rather than my hometown.

I approximate 9 times. 3x in florida 1x cross country 3x in maine, and a few more times around the area. All of which times there was family to visit.
Once in canada since last summer.
Twice when I leave this thursday.
Is the food in Thailand typically better than those in the restaurants in america?

I was only 6 when I went so I can't remember well, plus I've never been to America, but I suspect it's different due to regional tastes and available ingrediants.
I know British curry is generally spicier than genuine Indian food if you can make any inferance from that.

Spicier doesn't mean more butt-fucking delicious.

But it does mean more butt-fucking hammered once you've cooled your tongue with eight pints of lager and over here, that's what counts ;)

No, five were with school, two were Taekwon-do gradings, four were Taekwon-do competitons, one was DofE. There were some other excuses too.
The only family ones were Egypt, Bulgaria, and Spain. Dad used to work in Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, and Spain so those were kind of family but paid for by some business relocation thingy.
V ninja'd, foo' :) V

Most of Europe can be reached by car since they built the Channel Tunnel. 22 hours to get to Switzerland, but hey, we had fun.

You can get to the body of europe from England via car now?
Sick-nasty.
