I will be viewing this, yes. The dude playing Freddy also played Rorschach in Watchmen. The Nightmare on Elm Street series of films scared me the most as a child. I can't wait for this. I like how it goes into Freddy's back story more.

I've been pumped for this film since I heard about it this past spring.

Real, think for a moment: It's Michael Bay. Not only that, but it looks like the director basically just re-shot every memorable shot from the original films instead of actually coming up with new ones.

Ash, think for a moment: I don't care. I'm not a fanboy. I enjoy seeing what someone else does with classic films. I don't knock things before I try them. I'm sure all those shots will have some new, modern spin on them. It can still be good despite Michael Bay's usual ass-cockery. Plus it's directed by some no-name director, so I get to give that dude a chance to shine in my mind. I'm still pumped.

You've got some balls, man. I eventually sat and watched Friday the 13th hoping that it would do something worthwhile, but was severely disappointed. As much as I am pumped for the presence of Jackie Earl Haley, I don't expect much from this film.

That didn't look that scary tbh, and I'm a sucker for horror movies usually.

god, that was the shittiest movie i have ever seen.

@real, i haven't see the nightmare movies yet, but i have seen little snippets of all of them. they looked really scary but really cheesy too. oh well, if there is a horror movie out, chances are i will see it.

I've seen several of the Nightmare on Elm Street films, but the first one was the only one I enjoyed.

I'm looking forward to this purely because I loved the old ones. I really don't mind if they've just re-shot old scenes, that leaves less room for dissapointment.

I won't expect it to be that great, as I learned with the last one released. But, it won't hurt to be excited about it.
