Where did you get that from? The only time people "respect" someone else over a post count is when it's a newer member who sees another member helping another. It's just that the said member happens to have a good amount of posts.

If you're wondering why you don't normally see people with a greater post count flamed, it's because they've probably been posting around, and that the other members are used to the said member.

Take Bonk for example:
He's a pretty cool guy by my standards, but his post count isn't way up there.
