I am lee from India. I love to play games and watch movies. I want Picture Quality, Performance, Best Price. I am very confused between these two. Can anyone tell which is better for me and why?

Performance is negligible, both will play games designed to play on them. Picture quality depends on the TV, I doubt you could tell the difference between 360 graphics and PS3 graphics on the same game. 360 is cheaper but using a basic time scale, if you pay for live for 3 years (based on UK prices) after you get the 360, it's now more expensive than the 360, assuming you use live that is. All in all, I prefer the 360 although more often than not I wish I was on the PlayStartion network thing but there is no better console really. If you went to be able to play anything and get good quality, get a high end gaming PC or a Mac with one of the higher graphics options, depending on which you prefer, and a nice screen.

If you like movies, and want the best DVD player along with the console, get a PS3. I think it also has Netflix now.

It depends on what you want. I don't see any difference in between the two consoles besides having different exclusive games, xbox costs money to do Live, and the ps3 has BlueRay for watching movies.

I prefer Xbox because all my friends use live instead of the PS3's network, I have no doubt the PS3 is an excellent gaming rig, but I have no use for a BluRay (is it bluray or blueray?) so the ridiculous price is not worth it (not sure how much it is now, but it was $600 compared the the Xbox's modest $200).

On a side note, the Xbox does have Netflix also

xbox is mostly used in my school but PS3 i heard now has better graphics on the games, but id still go for the 360
